Congratulations and thank you to all who participated in the BigGiG: A Singing Odyssey, livestreamed on the 29th October, 2010. The BigGiG featured over 1200 children from 11 schools in the Australian Capital Territory, gathering in Llewellyn Hall at the ANU School of Music for a song celebration during National Children’s Week. Viewers from around the world watched the concert live online, singing along with us and interacting via the internet with our audience. Over 12,000 people have watched this concert online since October 29, 2010 and the numbers keep growing! We hope you will enjoy watching the archived footage of this concert, and sing along again with us. Interactive videoconference practice sessions

As an exciting and new initiative, the ANU School of Music offered pre-event interactive sessions to schools around Australia and New Zealand delivered by videoconference.

Led by our expert MEP (Music Education Program) team, these were provided FREE to both teachers and class groups, as part of the School’s series of virtual trials, and included the opportunity to meet other participating school groups around the country in a ‘Meet and Greet’ videoconference session prior to the concert.
