Scholarships
All eligible current students and students offered admission to the ANU School of Music are automatically considered for award of the following scholarships for pre-tertiary, undergraduate, honours and postgraduate studies. No application is required. These scholarships are estimates dependent on available funding.

College of Arts and Social Sciences Scholarships
Undergraduate
Leonard and Margaret Doman Undergraduate Scholarship for Flute
A one-year scholarship awarded to a student commencing the Bachelor of Music who demonstrates an outstanding level of ability and accomplishment as a flautist, possessing the potential to make an outstanding contribution as a musician.
Dennis Griffin National Composition Scholarship
One four-year scholarship, $5,000 per year, awarded to a student commencing the Bachelor of Music specialising in composition and demonstrating an outstanding level of musical ability and accomplishment during the selection process.
Christel Larko Music Scholarship
A one-year scholarship awarded to a student commencing a program of study at the School of Music specialising in piano or voice and demonstrating an outstanding level of musical ability and accomplishment during the selection process.
Ruth Pfanner Undergraduate Scholarship
One four-year scholarship, $5,000 per year, awarded to a student commencing the Bachelor of Music specialising in cello and demonstrating an outstanding level of musical ability and accomplishment during the selection process.
ANU National Undergraduate Scholarship

Honours
Peter and Lena Karmel Honours Scholarship
A one year scholarship valued at $6,000, awarded to the most outstanding student in music, commencing an honours year at the ANU School of Music.
Sir Geoffrey Yeend Honours Scholarships
One or two scholarships for honours year students enrolled in political science, visual and performing arts and Asian studies. Please follow the link for more information.
Postgraduate
Harmony Endowment Postgraduate Masters Scholarship
Scholarship pays partial fee tuition. Open to students enrolling in a Master of Music in a classical area of study including Composition, Voice and Musicology.
Leonard and Margaret Doman Postgraduate Scholarship for Flute
One year scholarship awarded to a student pursuing a full time program of study, leading to the award of a graduate degree or diploma in Flute Performance.
Dennis Griffin National Piano/Composition Masters Scholarship
Scholarship pays domestic fee tuition. Open to students enrolling in a Master of Music in Piano or Composition.
Pre-tertiary
Rotary Club of Canberra Sunrise Regional Classical Voice Scholarship
These scholarships provide year 11 and 12 students in regional areas of NSW with the opportunity to attend a Young Classical Vocalist Workshop at the ANU School of Music.
Music After School - Instrumental and Vocal Program Scholarships
The ANU School of Music offers scholarships for instrumental tuition in the Music After School - Instrumental and Vocal Program. These scholarships are generously funded by University House. Scholarships are awarded annually. Students who are nominated by their teachers are eligible to audition.
